| Nicolas F. Smock Nic has been a part of the auction business for as long as he can remember. He is the only son of Don Smock and has been living and breathing the business since birth. He graduated from Continental School of Auctioneers in 1997. He attended The Auction Marketing Institute in 2003 and received his GPPA, general personal property appraiser certification and has also furthered his education by obtaining his real estate license. Nic belongs to The National Auctioneer Association and attends many continuing education seminars and classes to enhance his knowledge and adapt to the many new changes in the dynamic world of auctions. He has taken part in numerous charity auctions for churches and other not-for-profit organizations supporting such causes as Down Syndrome and Muscular Dystrophy. Nic has worked for DSA for over 13 years and is currently the president of Don Smock Auction Company, Inc. Nic's credo when interacting with customers is, "I don't want my customers to just be a number. Knowing each and every person by name and face is important to me. Personal customer service is my number one priority." |
